TRACK ARRANGEMENT IN 1906 SHOWING L.I.R.R. AND
B.R.T FACILITIES AT SHEEPSHEAD BAY RACE TRACK.


1910 BLUEPRINT SHOWS L.I.R.R. SINGLE TRACK CONNECTION BECOMING TWO
TRACK AND JOINING OLD RIGHT OF WAY, THEN BEING CROSSED BY B.R.T. TRACK.
NOTE TWO B.R.T. UNDERJUMPS - THE EASTWARD BENEATH THEIR FOUR TRACKS
AND THE TWO L.I.R.R. TRACKS AND THE WESTWARD BENEATH BOTH L.I.R.R.
THE B.R.T. HAS GAINED A TERMINAL CLOSER TO THE RACE TRACK ENTRANCE.


IN 1908 AND 1909 THE L.I.R.R. WAS STILL USING THE ORIGINAL RIGHT OF WAY.   THE
B.R.T. CROSSING WAS PROTECTED BY GATES ACROSS THE B.R.T. WHICH WERE SWUNG
ACROSS THE MANHATTAN BEACH TRACKS TO ALLOW B.R.T. RACE TRAINS TO PASS.

IN 1899 AN INTERLOCKING WAS BUILT AT EMMONS (NEPTUNE) AVENUE
AND THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH WAS CONNECTED WITH THE
BRIGHTON LINE AND THE NEPTUNE AVENUE TROLLEY LINE ALLOWING
B.R.T. TRAINS AND TROLLEYS TO RUN TO MANHATTAN BEACH.



THE   TOWER   WAS   NUMBER   79  1/2.

JULY 1903 LOOKING WEST ON THE MANHATTAN BEACH RAILWAY -
A TROLLEY IS PASSING THROUGH THE INTERLOCKING ON THE BRIGHTON LINE.


THE INTERLOCKING WAS REBUILT IN JUNE 1906 FOR THE TEMPORARY
OPERATION OF BRIGHTON LINE TRAINS ON THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH.
