THE BUILDINGS ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF FORT GREENE PLACE ARE MEAT HOUSES.
SWIFT & COMPANY OCCUPIED THE TURRETED BRICK STRUCTURE.


WITH THE COMPLETION OF THE BELOW GRADE TERMINAL
ELEVATORS WERE INSTALLED FOR THESE CUSTOMERS.


REFRIGERATOR CARS WERE UNLOADED ON THE ELEVATED STRUCTURE ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF ATLANTIC AVENUE AND THE MEAT MOVED BY AN ENCLOSED
OVERHEAD CONVEYOR TRACK ABOVE THE STREET TO ARMOUR'S BUILDING.

AFTER COMPLETION OF THE BELOW GROUND STATION SWIFT & COMPANY'S 1892 BUILDING AND
MANY OF THE OTHER MEAT HOUSES HAD ELEVATORS TO THE NEW TERMINAL'S MEATHOUSE TRACK.
